Michigan-based singer-songwriter Darcy Wilkin has a beautiful ear for language and a heart that understands pain and glory. Her shows combine captivating original songs and the traditional tunes and ballads she learned firsthand from masters of the tradition. Darcy released her debut solo album, Bristol, in January of 2020. Produced by traditional music veteran Joe Newberry, Bristol is a collection of songs new and found that underscore the struggles and triumphs of ordinary folks in extraordinary circumstances.
