At Modales we provide high quality wines to guests who crave wines of intention, purpose & place. We produce cool climate, terroir-driven wines with a focus on minimal intervention winemaking & regenerative practices in the vineyard.
Position Overview
As Tasting Room Wine Ambassador you are responsible for curating a remarkable guest experience through exceptional service and methodology.
Responsibilities
- Serving guests with genuine hospitality and championing what is special about Modales, what we do, why we do it, and how we do it
- Learning, knowing and conveying our lineup of wines with accuracy and passion
- Operating our POS, reservation system, and handling cash
- Educating our guests on our wine club and its many advantages
- Driving to-go wine sales through knowledge and enthusiasm
- Working respectfully, cleanly and safely with the team through set up to closing duties
- Prepping for events as needed
Qualifications
- To provide the most authentic experience possible, you must love wine
- One year of serving or hosting experience preferred
- You must be legal drinking age
- Open availability preferred
- You must be able to switch gears and handle unexpected rushes with ease
- You must be open to learn beyond the surface level of wine and hospitality
- You must love working in a beautiful setting with amazing coworkers
Pay and Hours
- Tasting Room Ambassadors earn a generous hourly wage + tips
- We’re looking for a 30-35 hours per week commitment
- Seasonal position with potential for year-round employment
