What You Will Do:

 

Social Media / Digital Reputation Responsibilities (40%)

  • Develop and utilize digital content that differentiates Modales and turns our value proposition into effective communications
  • Execute social media strategy in Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and other platforms
  • Monitor and manage other digital presences such as customer and wine review sites
  • Manage content calendars 
  • Create and execute compelling and results-oriented email, and digital campaigns that command and deliver high engagement and conversion rates
  • Establish, evaluate, and report on goals for digital channels
  • Manage email databases, including segmentation, tags, and groups

 

Website / Ecommerce Responsibilities (15%)

  • Manage and maintain Modales website content – in WordPress 
  • Maintain eCommerce platform content and image galleries – currently in Nexternal
  • Maintain SEO strategies and manage website performance with Google Analytics
  • Manage and maintain optimization strategies for converting website traffic, social media, and email campaigns into purchases
  • Assist TR Manager with creating processes that result in timely and accurate order fulfillment and that strengthen brand loyalty

 

Events Responsibilities (30%)

  • Work with the TR Manager to plan, execute and improve On and Off-site Events
  • Manage and evaluate project plans and budgets with Management
  • Develop and manage a communication strategy for event promotion
  • Serve as liaison with vendors on event-related matters
  • Capture event images and repurpose them for digital marketing campaigns
  • Assist the TR Manager to develop, implement and improve a Volunteer program

 

General Marketing Responsibilities (15%)

  • Implement and continually improve a strategy for Brand Identity and voice
  • Manage all creative assets in a centralized folder
  • Develop, implement, and continuously improve a strategy for advertising, community outreach, and public relations 
    • Coordination with television and traditional media (ex. print)
    • Liaison with partnering industries and outside marketing entities, ex. B&B’s, Fennville AVA trail, Craft trails, Chamber of Commerce, etc.
  • Make recommendations for and manage all service providers related to marketing efforts
  • Packaging – Label development in coordination with the Production Team
  • Develop and provide sales support materials for all sales channels

 

Professional Characteristics and Competencies that will Set You Apart: 

  • Demonstrated ability to reach the target audience through creative and engaging email campaigns, website content, and social media posts that generate measurable results
  • Outstanding public and interpersonal communication skills
  • Knowledge of or willingness to learn SEO, keyword research, social reporting platforms, and Google Analytics
  • Understanding of Adobe Creative Suite or others a plus (Ex: InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Spark, or Canva)
  • A detail-oriented and organized project manager who demonstrates initiative, professionalism, and an eagerness to be a great team collaborator
  • Ability to work independently and produce results with integrity
  • Knowledge and experience working in the wine or hospitality industry are preferred

 

Additional Information:

  • Year-round full-time position w/ varied hours, including evenings and weekends
  • This role works with the Tasting Room Manager, Director of Operations, and Sales
  • Base Salary Range 40K – 45K with potential for additional compensation
